Where are you based?
We are based in Oamaru, Otago where we stock the majority of our products before distribution. We have excellent distribution channels to and from Oamaru.

Where can I see your equipment?
We sell via our website and our Trade Me store. We have also a growing number of brick and motor stores that stock our gear, please refer to our Retailers page. If you’re a retailer, feel free to get in touch for a chat.

I am after a specific product but cannot currently see it in store, how can I get it?
Not all products in our catalogue are currently listed on our website. If you are after a specific product from our catalogue that is not available on our online store, please get in touch with us and we will source this for you.

Where are your products from?
We source all our products from our headquarters in Germany. 

Are all products manufactured in Germany?
Not all products are exclusively manufactured in Germany. Like with most products nowadays, materials and parts are sourced from various places around the world.

What makes Balzer equipment so special?
All equipment goes through years of thorough testing and improvements. Only the best materials are used and processed with the highest attention to detail. Our goal is to produce the best product using the best materials, following strict processes and procedures.

How do you ship your products?
We try to keep packaging material to a minimum but we also want to make sure that you receive your new gear undamaged and in a perfect condition. For that purpose, we ship all products wrapped/packed in recycled cardboard boxes or corrugated cardboard. Additionally, we use bubble wrap and air pockets to protect very sensitive and light fishing rods. 

What is your product warranty?
We offer a 24 month warranty on all products covering damage or loss as results of production mistakes, flaws or imperfections.
